Macro visible in VBA Editor not shown in my Macro list in Excel

    Hi Folks,

I have a UserForm with all codes in VBA Editor. How do I assign it to a toolbar button in Excel?

Usualy I would right click on the button and assign the macro from the list. But this one is not shown on that list. I can see it only in VBA Editor.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Eduard

    Hi,

When you right click, is the 'Assign Macro' list only looking in your Personal Workbook perhaps?

Assignable macros would only be visible if they are within a standard module in the VBE, not in a class module. Where is your macro located (ie what module)?

You can'y assign a UserForm to a toolbar. What you need to do is place the code to show the userform into a standard module, then assign that to the toolbar

    Hope that helps.

    Hi All,

    Richard S,
The list looks into All Open Workbooks.

    Richard B,
I presume it has something to do with Modules. It's definitely not in a standard module.

    Roy,
    your solution solved the problem.

Thank you all for your thoughts.

    Eduard
