    Formula to find dates

    Hi All

I have attached the excel sheet sample and few lines below to tell waht i need to do with that..

Column B contains numbers and Column C contains dates. What i need is all the numbers in column B should have the prior business date in Column C.

For example today is 11/07/2008 (friday) so i need the date 11/06/2008 for all the numbers. If the day is monday (11/10/2008) i need 11/7/2008, 11/08 and 11/09 for all the numbers. Everyday the lines will get increased till the last day of the month. If any of the date is not there, the corresponding number should be thrown in the column G

In the attached sheet I have shown the results in Column G

Is this possible to do with formulas or macro?

    Thank You

I fail to see why 010 is not in the list, it seems they all should be included to me.

    Hello

010 will not come as all the prior dates are available. Since I am doing it on 11/07/2008, i should see only the prior business day and not 11/07/2008.

    Thank You

I don't understand what you're trying to do. By the silence, perhaps neither do other people.

I thought it was me! You need to explain more clearly what you want
    Hope that helps.
