    deleting rows based on criteria

    Good Day,
I would like to delete rows in a worksheet based on a value of a cell within that row. The worksheet will not always have the same number of rows. I will be looking at the value of each cell in column "AD", which is a date, and if it is not equal to 00/00/0000 then I want to delete that row.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated !!

    Thanks,
    Matt

    Do you actually mean 00/00/0000?

Yes, The spreadsheet is being generated by SAP and if a part has not been received it populates the receipt date field with 00/00/0000. I know I could filter these, but would rather eliminate the rows that have dates other than 00... to reduce the size of the spreadsheet and automate the process.

    Thanks,
    Matt

I'm not sure what SAP will enter as the dates, check if they are numbers or text. Try this

    Roy,
Awesome, works like a charm. Not only solved my problem but gives me an example to study and learn from.
    Thanks much for your help.
