    using this code

    the trouble is that once cell d24 is activated the calendar control pops up as planned , but it pops up semi out of view i.e half the calendar requires me to scroll down the page . is there anyway i can change where the pop up pops up so to speak

    regards

    not worried about it being pretty but i didnt really want it scrolling down the page
    unless when you selct your date it then goes to cell d25 automatically

    roy i was hoping it would pop up above the cell d24

    and i need it to select the cell and put that date into d24
    and then

    automatically select d25

    thanks

    Why not use a userform with a calendar control rather than just stick one on a worksheet?

    Then you might have more control over what's happening.

    You might also want to look into the Top/Left properties.
