Conditional Formatting Fill colour with weekday colour

    Hello

I would like to fill color the row with conditional formatting using formula.

If the birthdate is Sunday the row contain sunday must be red.
If the birthdate is Monday the row contain Monday must be Yellow.
If the birthdate is Tuesday the row contain Tuesday must be pink.
If the birthdate is Wednesday the row contain Wednesday must be Green.
If the birthdate is Thurday the row contain Thursday must be Orange.
If the birthdate is Friday the row contain Friday must be Cyan.
If the birthdate is Saturday the row contain Thursday must be Purple.

I using Weekday function to get the dayweek order in conditional formatting. Unluckily the maximum conditional formatting in Excel 2003 are 3 conditionals.

I heard that the Excel Macro 4.0 had function to get the cell colour. But I don't have experience using Excel Macro 4.0 before!

Is the any solution that using Excel Macro 4 function with Condtional Formatting

I have attached the file for study.

    Thanks for your help.

    Sincerely your.

I know nothing of the Excel Marco 4 method, either.

You can run a workbook change macro to perform the changes.

Right click on the sheet and choose View Code.
    Paste the following macro:

The macro will color the first three columns based on the day of the week of the date entered in column C.

It won't, you can have 3 colours defined by Conditional Formatting, +1 if you count a colour added manually. If you want more using a version earlier than 2007 then you need VBA & the user must enable macros
    Hope that helps.
