Cool Deleting text from cells with macro

I am trying to delete common text from multiple cells in a worksheet. I am not real familiar with VBA but know there is probably a way of doing this via a macro. This is the common data that starts off every cell.

So basically I am looking to delete everthing from the beginning of the cell to the " ) " character. Any help or advice would be greatly appeciated.

    Pocoloco.....

    Hi

You can do an edit replace without the need for a macro. Any reason that you can't use that facility?

    Hello pocoloco,

Here is macro that will remove the beginning text from cell up to the ")" in column "A" on the active sheet.
