copy password protected sheet

I have a sheet called "blank" (password protected) which I programatically copy to a new sheet. I would like the user to be able to edit this new sheet, but not edit the blank sheet. I tried activesheet.unprotect, but of course it asks for the password. How can I make an unpassword protected copy of a password protected sheet without entering the password?

    Thanks,
    Dave

ah perfect, I didn't know you could pass unprotect() the password ! haha

I guess it's not too secure since it's plain text in the code, but my users dont know how to get into the macro code! hahaha

You can password protect the VBA code so they can't read it without putting in the password, too.

Always put your code between code tags.
your code here
To protect your code, first open the VB Editor & select the relevant workbook.

Go to Tools -> VBAProject properties, lock the project for viewing, and enter a password.
