Is there a macro or even a formula that will return the name of the tab that cell is in?

=MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))+1,
LEN(CELL("filename",A1))-FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1)))

That worked, but I can't manage to VLOOKUP that value to pull up column 2 from another tab in the workbook. I formatted the cells the same and everything is sorted but it still returns #N/A.
