Pivot Table Amend to value in cell

Hi,
I have the following code which makes sure a blank date does not get picked up in a pivot

I would like to amend the above and only show me the date which equals to the value in cell A1 in sheet "sheet1" and hide all other dates...

how can i do this?

how about if i had a value in a string called "mydate"... so not from a cell on a sheet?

You have the workbook, have you tested your code? The code I posted works when I tested it on some dummy data, replace the cell with the variable name.
