Anyway to protect certain columns???

Hi,

I'm having a nightmare.

I have to get off my desk today, a tender to a client.

It's based on a spreadsheet but I need to firstly hide, then protect certain columns that contain our profit margins etc.

Here's th tricky part.

The client wants to be able to edit certain columns/data etc.

How can I protect the sheet so that he cannot open the hidden columns, but can edit everything else on show?

Read the question.

I don't want to protect the WHOLE sheet/book, just certain columns.

Is this possible and how do you go about it?
