Remove data based on criteria from multiple columns and rows

I am working with an invetory spreadsheet.

Column "A" contains the style number.

Column "C" is a variable "F" for current items or "D" for those items that have been discontinued.

Column "D" is the various sizes.

Column "G" is the current amount of stock in that particular style and size.

I am looking to remove unnecessary data from the spreadsheet. What I need to do is remove all discontinued styles that do not have any stock. However, if one size in a particular style has any stock the entire style set needs to remain in the spreadsheet. Any suggestions?

I would use AutoFilter, but there are many ways to skin a cat. This is a common question so a search should elicit many examples.

I've used the AutoFilter, maybe I'm just not proficient enough with it.

I've sorted by amount of stock high-to-low first, then filtered by unique records. It would seem to me I would then be able to see each unique style and if it had any stock it would then show something other than a "0" in stock column.

When doing this as such it doesn't seem to maintain the sorting of how many items are in stock. And once this is done it still leaves removing all of the rows without stock containing that style number.

In the meantime I'll mess around with the Autofilter and see if I can figure it out.

If you want specific tailored advice you really have to post a workbook because no-one here knows what your data looks like.

In column "A" the style DPP1008 is a discontinued style ("D" in the "C" column.) and has no remaing stock. These rows would need to be removed. On the other hand style DPP1009 is discontinued, but still has stock remaining in the 7 1/2 size, this style would need to remain in. Style DPP1006 is not a discontinued style, and would remain as well.
