Read-Only for single or selected ranges.

    Hello,

I have a sheet in which system id's are used to generate who has been on and the date and time they have been on. As it stands right now, that information can be changed by the user. I would like to make it so unless you have permission you cannot change those particular cells.

How do I make Cell(a,10) read only to users except for me.

    Thanks

Use basic Sheet protection and/or hide the worksheet.
    Hope that helps.

Thats not really what I was hoping for. The information needs to be read by people, just not altered once placed there. Any other suggestions. and there are other areas on the same sheet that the users will need to be able to edit.
