    sort and transpose

How would I write something that could sort my data into a readable format?

    I have data like so:

    site name/date/determinant name/result/units

There are normally around 100 different determinant names and could be several dates for each site name. I would like to have it so that it would simply be:

    site name/date/ det1 result/det2 result/ det 3 result etc
with headers for each det name, and for all records in the same manner.

Does this make sense? Throw any questions at me that you have, I don't have much problem catching things.

    TIA
