Text Entries

Hi

Am struggling with a bit of code and would appreciate a little help

I need to assign to a variable, the total number of text entries in col. A (or alternatively in a named range).

Hope somone can help

What do you mean exactly? You can perhaps use COUNT or COUNTIF

Note however that CountA will count Nulls ("") as Non-Blank... if this is an issue and your values are all Text you could use:

This code works but the column is within a different worksheet
how can i manipulate this to search a different sheet.
