    Input Form for Excel Spreadsheet.

I have a spreadsheet that I am using to keep track of employees and what training and software they have. It has grown really large and inputting new people is becoming a hassle. I was thinking of trying to make some in VBA to help input data, but I am wondering if there is an input form like in Microsoft Access that excel has. Anyone have any ideas before I start making a VBA macro.

Thank you all for your input!

    Hello PinkPoo,

    Welcome to the Forum!

I don't know if this feature still exists in Excel 2007. Its the Data Form. If your data is arrange in table with column headers in row 1, you can add, delete, find next and previous, and use criteria in your search. It is limited to 32 columns. To access it go to Data on the main menu then click Form.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

If you already know Access, you might as well save yourself some heartache now and tranfer the whole thing over. If you don't know Access, it would be quicker to learn it than it would to be to learn Excel's userforms, which is the question you're asking.

Have a look at the attachment - it's an example userform which writes the entered values into a very simple database.

But you're still better off using Access ...

Thank you all for your quick response and welcomes. I looked at the example spreadsheet and that is exactly what I need. I am pushing for Access but that requires some staff training and for now I am going to set up Excel and then set up Access.

    Thank you again!
