How to add a column in C# ?

Anyone know the code to add a column using C#. If not then I'll take some VBA code. What I tried there below did not work.

rangeXX = ws.get_Range("Q1", "Q1").EntireColumn;
rangeXX.Select();
ws.Columns.Insert(Excel.XlInsertShiftDirection.xlShiftToRight,
Type.Missing); // cannot shift items off sheet

OK, if you want to tell me what a "code tag" is.

Hello ubsman,

Please read the forum rules. It will explain how to add the code tags. Why are you posting a question about C# in an Excel VBA Forum? Microsoft has C# news groups.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

Remember To Do the Following....

1. Use code tags. Place
before the first line of code and
after the last line of code.

3. Please mark your post [SOLVED] if it has been answered satisfactorily.
