Macro to Paste Values if Criteria Met

I am looking to write a macro that will check row 8 to see if the word "hello" exists, if it does then i would like the macro to paste the word hello all the way across row 8 until the word "bye" appears. Once bye appears this should then carry on pasting bye until it reaches the last column.

I have attached a sample worksheet in case that doesnt make any sense. I am hoping for some guidance or any help that some1 can give me.

Based on your example, you only want to paste in ever third column. See if this will work for you.
