    Get Access Query Results

    Hi,
    I have the following Code:

    im having a issue when the data is imported into excel...
    the result is a set of dates + names etc...

    for some reason the dates come out in a general format rather than a date format etc..

    how can i amend my code so it comes through in the correct format?

    Do you know which column pertain to dates - ie is it constant or is there means by which to identify it ? Example:

    The key is (obviously) identifying the appropriate column

    yeah but i dont want to specify it like that..

    it's interesting because when the copy's it over, it shows half as dates and half as general? :s...

    but i definetly dont want to specify it like you have suggested.... there must be a way to get the result as we see it if we were to execute the query ourselves because in that case it could all be seen as dates..
