    Address Book

Good Morning, I'm not sure if this can be done. Seems like Excel can do everything, not sure on this one. Here is a example of what I want too do, just not sure of the best way. Their are a lot of smart helpfull people here that will know if it can be done. Maybe their is a better way to do this, I'm open too all suggestions. It would be nice too have a master address book too choose from, something easy too input addresses too. I would like too keep everything in one workbook.
Thanks Again for all your help

    Re: Address Book

Start by looking at the Contacts form example here
    http://www.excel-it.com/vba_examples.htm

You can see how to set the address database up, then it is a simple matter to create another form using Data validation & VLOOKUP to populate an address result form.
    Hope that helps.

    Re: Address Book

You make this look too easy Roy, I fell like a big dummy right now. I look at what you did and its perfect for what I need. I'm not sure how you got the drop down icon on cell c6. I see the red corner but not sure what you did. This must be something from tools?. Is there a good place for me too read a how too. Thanks for putting up for a dummy like me.

    Re: Address Book

Ok guys I got it, but I have 1 problem. I'm putting the address book on sheet 3, I have sheet 2 used already. How too I get it too see sheet 3?. Another thing I want too do is have my TO: box empty by default if this can be done. Sometimes I will have to type in a person, if not I can add them to the address book all the time. Thanks again for your help.

    Re: Address Book

Been trying all day with no luck. I see where you put the addresses in the form box,I see where validation = names. I can see the formula in box2 and box 3, not sure what goes on in box1. I have been searching with no luck on a easy example. The one Roy did looks easy but not sure on all his steps. I do not know if I use a formula in box 1?, when the book is open all you see is a name. Is there a place too go and get step by step instuctions.
    Thank You
