Disabling Drag and Drop also disables Paste

I have an excel 2000 spreadsheet in which drag and drop is disabled via the Activate worksheet function as follows:

#Private Sub Workbook_Activate()
Application.CellDragAndDrop= False
End Sub#

Unfortunately this also prevents the user from pasting data from another workbook into this worksheet.

Is there an easy solution please?
