Macro not saving in Excel 2007

Hi - I created a macro in Excel 2007 and saved it under Personal Macro Workbook. The macro runs on the excel files so long as I don't close out the workbook. Once I close out the workbook I lose the macro and have to recreate. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

Can you see a PERSONAL.xlsb in the VB Editor?
    Hope that helps.
