    how to find Certain String in a column, select/Copy the cell till another String

    hi,
    how to Find a String in a Column.Copy the cells from that Cell which contains the string1 till the cell contains String2.
    also the bank name changes for different regions. how to loop it and prepare the report for every region with the same template/format

    You need a MUCH better sample sheet than that. Don't oversimplify, include several sample sets of data, clearly note where you want the to start and stop on EACH section so we can identify some usable pattern, and most importantly mockup a sample of the output, what the final result should be for this multi-set sample.

    The better the sample data, the easier it is to imagine a solution for you.

    ok.i m attaching the new excel sheet.The target is to copy the items in sheet Rawdata to Sheet:=Format. there will be additions and deletions of certain items every week.i m looking for the code that will copy the items in Rawdata sheet to Format Sheet.i need to copy only the items in red font from rawdata sheet to format sheet(Template of my Report).There will be other items in the rawdata sheet which are unimportant for me for preparing the Report every week. i need to copy the amounts corresponding to the items also . any help

    1. Will the Format sheet be empty when you run it, or does the data in there already need to be erased?
    2. What will the format sheet look like BEFORE the transfer starts? Will there only be one blank row at the spot to enter each set to "materials"
    3. Are the items to be transferred ACTUALLY names "Material ?" or is that an example? If it's an example, the the fields directly above and below each set of materials to transfer will always have the same field values? For instance Purchases and Total (Rupees) to bookend the items to be transferred into the Purchases section of the report?

    Thanks for replying Mr.JBeaucaire's...Dont feel otherwise if i had missed out any things in explaining my problem. i m just into learning the topic.Any how to make things clear what i want is to create the report based on the data from the rawdata sheet. The format sheet is the actual report and it's in the report format.(Required Format/Template whatever u can call).

    The requirement is to get the required data(COLORED IN RED) from raw data sheet to the Format sheet (Report) using loops or any other code.

    The data i provided is an example which looks similiar to my actual data.Due to integrity problems i could not post here.

    Or Else, tell me a way in which i can copy the data from certain text(Material 1 to Material2- Under Purchases Head.)
    I need to just create a report in a prefixed format: Purchases on the top and the Issues at the bottom.How to copy cells starting from Material 1 till Material 2 Under Purchases head and the same method for Material 1 thru Material 6 or what ever it may be till the Cell Material providers come.

    Hope i had given detailed explanation and my requirement for you
