How to protect completed cells after a document is saved?

Right, second post so hopefully its simpler then my last question.

How would I go about accomplishing this?

I am using a few lines of a spreadsheet everyday then saving the document. This is then forwarded to 5 other people.

How can I protect the completed lines and stop them being tampered with after i have saved the document?

Or if anyone else has any other suggestions on this I would really appreciate it.

Lock those cells (Format > Cells, Protection) and protect the sheet BEFORE you save and close the document.
