    VB to add a row based on a cell value

    I need to add code to a current module that will add a new row every time it comes accross "Sub Totals" until it finds empty rows. I am sure that this is really easy I just cant figure it out.

    Thanks

    You'll need to adjust the Column used to determine the lastrow of data, I highlighted that in red, change that to the column you know will be the most reliable column to test for data.
    Option Explicit

    Sub BlankAfterSubtotal()
    'Add blank row after each instance of "subtotal"
    Dim LastRow As Long
    LastRow = Range("F" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row

    Cells.Find(What:="subtotal", After:=Range("A1"), LookIn:=xlFormulas, _
        LookAt:=xlPart, SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlNext, _
        MatchCase:=False, SearchFormat:=False).Activate

        Do
            ActiveCell.Offset(1, 0).EntireRow.Insert (xlShiftDown)
                If ActiveCell.Row >= LastRow Then Exit Sub
            LastRow = LastRow + 1
            Cells.FindNext(After:=ActiveCell).Activate
        Loop

    End Sub
