Alternative to looping through columns

Hi there,

If a particular row does not contain an x then the column needs to be hidden.
Currently I have some code that works. However it has to loop through every cell in turn on that row and if it is empty then hide it.

I have to do this on lots of sheets with lots of columns and I am concerned about the time it will take. Does anyone know of an alternative to looping please?

Essentially I want to say 'for all empty cells on this row, hide the columns'.
