Sort Data (names) A-Z

Hi guys,

I`m a complete novice with macros. I`ve recorded a macro but don't think it's doing what I need

I am intending on having names input into my s.s (column A) and I want to press the macro button (titled button 1) to sort the rows based on A-Z name order. Can someone help me with achieving this with the intention of the macro being future proofed i.e for all of column A to have the names sorted irrespective of how far down they are entered in the column?

All you need to do is record a macro whilst doing it manually, then assign that macro to a button.

Hi Ali,

I did do this a few times - thank you :-) but it was frustratingly sorting my header row too! - I did 'freeze' my header row as well. Any suggestions/clarifications about where I am going wrong?
