    Re: filter using buttons

Odd that you post a sample sheet asking for filtering on specific things, and your sample data doesn't even include any of those entries...don't you think your sample should present all the data for a solution?

Could you amend your sheet and make sure all the appropriate needs are represented in the dataset?

    Thanks.

    Re: filter using buttons

in new sheet the reasons for non delivry are

    Empties Not Available
    PURCHASING Problem
    amc did not Go/shrtage
    Store Closed
    Discount Not Showing In Vehicle
    Empties Not Available
    Empties Not Available
    Outlet Refused
    stock out/prob in loading
    Outlet Need fresh stock
    Cheq Not Ready
    Empties Not Available
    bill in handale
    Outlet Need fresh stock

can it be possible on click of button it filters reasons-

    Store Closed
    Discount Not Showing In Vehicle
    Empties Not Available
    Cheq Not Ready
    Empties Not Available

from the whole list...as this is gonna help me out to find how much a perticular dept is accountable for losses- ex-the above reasons for non delivry r becz of logistics dept ..

There's still no data in the workbook, and why use VBa when AutoFilter will do the job?
    Hope that helps.

    Re: filter using buttons

I agree with Roy, a macro seems overkill. You can simply adjust your "reasons" so the ones you would like to see together have some common word or code IN the reasons. Like:

    XX-Store Closed
    XX-Discount Not Showing In Vehicle
    XX-Empties Not Available
    XX-Cheq Not Ready

Now a single AutoFilter for Contains: XX- will show them all.

If you want a count of Filtered items use the SUBTOTAL Function
