I'm working on this sheet and i'd like to copy information from row "i,i", insert a new row below it and copy that information to the new empty row.

Hello Tokumoto,
Bienvenido! or Irasshaimase!
The Range "I:I" is a column, not a row. Where is the information to be copied?i'd like to copy information from row "i,i", insert a new row below it and copy that information to the new empty row.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

This is the code the macro recorder made when I tried manually.
What I want is to select a cell in the A column and insert black row, then copy the information from the row over the empty one.Sub Macro1() Selection.EntireRow.Insert Rows("15:15").Select Selection.Copy Range("A16").Select ActiveSheet.Paste Application.CutCopyMode = False End Sub
The excel workbook is uploaded in this post.
Hello Tokumoto,
Did you mean Blank or Black?
What I want is to select a cell in the A column and insert black row
Sorry, mistyped.... it meant BLANK
Hello Tokumoto,
This will copy the entire row of the selected cell, inserts a row, and copy the original contents into the new row.
Sub Macro2() Dim Rng As Range Set Rng = Selection.EntireRow With Rng.Rows(1) .Copy .Insert .PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteAll End With Application.CutCopyMode = False End Sub
