Is this possible? Multi-functional macro (buy/sell)

Is it possible for a macro to switch the functionality of a set of macros?

    Option 1, buy
    Option 2, sell

If so, could you help me start off.

    Hello emptycucumber,

You can create a single macro to selectively run other macros you have written by passing an argument.
