To hide UDF module in Project Explorer Window

    Hi,

I have written an UDF for myself and saved it as .xla file and added it in Add-Ins. Now the problem is that this module is opening every time in the Project Explorer Window. I tried to protect using the properties and lock it. But it is not happenning. Can any one suggest me how to hide the module containing the code of my UDF.

    Thank You.

From the VBE go to Tools > VBAProject Properties and in the protection tab select Lock Project for Viewing and put a password in. Click OK. This won't seem to take effect until you close Excel and reopen.

Even though I closed Excel and reopened this is not happenning.

Have you ticked the box and entered a password and confimred the password?

Edit : Just reread your original post - you cannot hide the code, just password protect it - it will always be visible in the VBAProject Properties window, but users will not be able to see the code without the password.
