    Axes(xlCategory).MinimumScale in 2007

    Hi All,

Macros written in 2000 and XP allow (xl category).Minimum/MaximumScale to be defined as a string regardless of the category axis format. Not so in 2007?

    Example:

    cells read mm/dd/yyyy

custom category axis format is mm/yy

    code reads Axes(xlCategory).MinimumScale = "1/2/2002"

Works fine in 2000 and XP

Type mismatch in 2007. No longer valid code or am I missing something?

Running original 2000/XP workbook in 2007.

Many charts updated weekly in this workbook. May not be worth the trouble but still curious.

    Thanks much,
    Yellowlion
