Cell reference from other worksheet in footer

Hello,

I'm trying to get a cell reference into my footer, specifically 'Pg 1!A5'. I want this to be in the middle column of my footers for each page, but I don't know how to get it in there and I heard you have to use macros. Can someone assist?

I'm a little confused as to your requirements but play with this code and see if it approximates what you want

Place the code in the worksheet module, deactivate the worksheet, activate the worksheet then do a "Print Preview". If it's close, perhaps we can refine it.

Hi jaslake, I also needed to reference cells in a footer so I thank you for your help above. I placed the code in the worksheet module but now there is a little bit of "thinking time" when that worksheet is activated. Though minimal, is there a way to minimize this lag?
