    Instert data using double-click

The code in the attached sheet should enter a symbol (in this case a 'tick') when a cell is double clicked.

But it doesn't....can anyone explain to me why?

    Thanks

The code you have should reside in the Sheet1 Object not ThisWorkbook... there is a Workbook level Double Click event but in this instance the code you're running is set to run at Worksheet level.

Once you move the code it should work as you intend.

    Once again, thanks.

Someone writes a piece of idiot-proof code and along I come, a better idiot...
