Hello,
I would like to have a combo box appear on my spreadsheet when pressing a key combination. The combo box will include a list of course codes and course names sourced from a second sheet.
When the user selects the code this will be written into the currently selected cell.

I've looked at data validation but this does not allow jumping to a section of the list depending on the first, second etc letter of the code or two column lists.
There are thousands of codes in the list.

Can any one help me find where to start?
