Thumbs up Removing Duplicates based on two Columns, Output results to new Spreadsheet

    Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping I can find at least some good pointers on how to accomplish this. I've uploaded an example xlsx (Excel 2007) file to help illustrate what I need done.

I have a workbook that has multiple columns (labeled "Table 1" in the attached example). I need to generate a list of unique values based on two of the columns in Table 1 (example output labeled "Table 2" in example).

The columns that make the output list unique are Column 1 and Column 4. You'll notice that the cells that have 'GHI' in my example are output twice because Column 4 in the table has two different values (3333 and 4444)...

On top of generating this unique-list, it has been requested that the new table (Table 2) be output to a brand new spreadsheet.

    The icing on top....
We are expecting to get this data regularly and it would be nice to write a macro to do this for future iterations, automatically.

Any help is very appreciated. I will be continuing to figure this out on my own, but a some help would be great.

    Thank you for reading

In your example, for each column1 value, the entries in each of the other columns are the same, with the exception you mention. If this is the case for your actual data you could use Advanced Filter, viz:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
If your actual data are different, this won't work.
