My macro crashes Excel?

I have comment blocked the code that causes Excel to crash. Please help?

Hi Andy,
I have attached a sample file. The macro works when you check the boxes to "Select data to plot". The error occurs when you unblock the three lines of code in the CreateChart macro and then check any of the boxes in "Select data to plot"?

The ApplyLayout appears to be the culprit.
