    Importing html data without applying format

    Hi,

    I use a fairly simple macro to Import html data into Excel:

    Problem:
    In a few colums of the html file data is noted as 14:16:19 representing 14 days, 16 hours, 19 minutes
    When imported, Excel interprets this data as follows:
    In case days is <24 (like 14:16:19) --> hh:mm:ss
    In case days is >24 (like 37:16:19) --> d/m/yyyy hh:mm:ss

    How can I prevent Excel from interpreting this data in the wrong way?
    I already tried formatting the cells where the data is supposed to go as General or Text, but when imported Excel automatically changes this format...

    I've not tried it but I believe the following change should make it interpret the items that look like dates / times just as text, rather than trying to format them as date / time values.
