Hello. If someone provides you an excel sheet (has always the same name) and you have to read information out of it and paste it on a different sheet, is there any way to do that automatically in one click?
To be precise, you would get a sheet with a table with an URL in every cell. the number of URLs/cells would vary by the way. and you would need to count the URLs and post the result in a different sheet. also you would need to split each url and put parts of it in a human readable way back together (I guess I will have to use visual basic for that) and paste a new table with the human readable results in the other sheet too. also you would need to copy the original table to the other sheet and mark all malformed URLs (coloring the cell background as red).
Is there any way to do that automatically, without defining a function/VB-Script for one cell and then pulling it down?
