load pictures from folder, crop, adjust in cell

wonderful, this is exactly what I need.

Just one tiny little favor to ask. Is there a way to let excel automatically import all bmp files from a folder, and then let this macro run it for every shape in a loop? at the moment the macro can only handle one shape, how can i let it jump to the next one?

forum search spits out 3 results, google presents only import and resize, and that most of the time for specified files only... so basically this is a dead end.

I do not need any macro which is only applicable to certain files, I would need it to import a whole folde of bmp's (all 1024x768), each into a cell of column A preferably, and then let the macro crop every picture to the required size. the problem is cannot get around this since I must have the each passport picture only in a cell of column A to make another macro work which imports me that picture into a userform....

I already made all necessary changes and wrote some bits of code, but the import from a folder and especially the insertion into a cell, is giving me quite a headache since there is nothing i could refer to on the net...
