Live Transfer a range of cell values to another Sheet or to another Workbook

Hello,
I have a need to transfer cell values from a source range (say E150:E160) to a destination range on another Sheet or another Workbook.

I can transfer individual cell's values using Click = in the destination cell, then Click and Enter on the source cell. THis works and the link is live, ie the destination cell is updated with new values in the source cell.

But, how to do this for a range of cells?

Help wd be much appreciated ....

Hi

Select your range E150:E160 and then select the first cell in your destination range. Then go Edit>PasteSpecial>PasteLink - this will insert formulas linking back to the entire copied range.

Thanks, it works .
but of course, it transfers the full decimal value, so still need yr help on TEXT per my reply to your response on my question on that.

Because it is a formula link that is created the value will be transferred in full. However, you can format the destination cells as required to produce the desired output.
