Determining visible conditional format cell colour in VBA

Hi,

I am, once again, having trouble with something that seems like it should be simple: i would like to determine the currently visible cell colour in a spreadsheet from within VBA regardless of whether it is conditionally formatted (through a function, value or range) or simply standard formated. is this possible?

i have some code that will find the current color for conditional 'value' and 'function' formats but this does not work on any of the other conditional types.

This is in Excel 2007.
