Calculate year over revenue percentage based on daynamic years

    Hi,
I am trying to find out a way to calculate the revenue percentage for year over year. But my biggest problem is that the year revenue can be any years (dynamic). For instance, i can have a data for revenue year from 2005 to 2007 and another time - i can have a data from 2002 to 2004. So what i am trying to do is to calculate if the revenue has increased or decreased from year to year. Pls. see attached for more clarification. Thanks for your help.

    shg,
this was a process that was taking about 4 hours but now i am trying to automate it and this is the only part i stuck with it. I did not explain in my post everything in detail but i just wanted to make it short and get to the point. thanks for your help.

I don't see what you're trying to automate. Look at your example as if you'd never seen it before; you see some data at the top copied down a few lines and some simple formulas added. How did that take four hours?

you don't see what i am trying to automate because i did not put all the details of what i am doing with the project. I just created a fake data just to show of what i am trying to accomplish.

So your example doesn't illustrate the problem. How does that assist someone in recommending a solution, karinos?
