    Hello juliebenn,

You should include the macro code in your post. The are more than a few differences between the Mac version of Excel and the PC version. Without more information, we can't answer your question.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Hello juliebenn,

You should post the Excel workbook (PC version) here on the forum for review.

FYI, Office 2008 does not accept macros at all. You would need to try and convert it to Applescript from VBA.

I don't know any Applescript at all, I'm afraid (I have Excel 2004 too, so I just use that for macros instead of 2008)
You could just use an Autofilter and copy and paste?

Re: putting a macro in excel 2008 MAC

Sorry for the delay - wanted to get back to my Mac and double-check the commands. It's actually very similar to the PC:
    Select your data.
    Choose Data-Filter-Autofilter from the menu.
Select 'Paid' as the filter for column J.
Select the data and either Cmd+C or Edit-Copy (this will only select the visible rows)
Switch to the other sheet and paste wherever required.
