I am looking to create an HTML file via a macro. I have a template file I want to add to (CSS definitions, etc) and I have seen that IO.Streamwriter appears to be very efficient. But, it's part of VB.Net and I don't know if I can call that from Excel.
I don't want to install vb.net until I know that it should work.
Any advise will be appreciated.

You should be posting this question in a VB.net forum. This is for VBA. About the only thing these 2 languages have in common are the initials VB.
