FIFO Function

Hi All,

I was able to get a sample code on FIFO Function on internet but when I tried to use it with Excel 2007 it is giving an error message. Could somebody please help me or rectify the below code to make FIFO Work? Please see the attached data sheet & the below code. An urgent help will be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance When you troubleshoot the code please upload the corrected sample data sheet with all the correction.

Sorry about that. After I run the Function it opens the code window with error "Compile Error". Actually in the code window ont he attached sheet i was trying the change the code (taking off some comma's marks etc since I am not at all a VB expert).
My requirement is to compute the FIFO Valuation, my actual data sheet is as per attached. If i could some how use this code for my actual data sheet -- That will be super wonderful...
My project data mainly has multiple item codes on same sheet with multiple dates, purchase sales entries show in the same column with + or - sign for buying or selling-- however document number differs - for purchase is starts with P/OXXXX for Sale it is numeric XXXXXX. If needed i can attach my original data sheet also but it will be too confusing becoz it includes other cost components etc.
