Is there a way to read the color of a specific pixel from a image-file (.jpg)?
I'd like to use this to trim pictures from there black background.
Thanks!

I expect that's pretty complicated, considering that the data is compressed.
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
You can do this manually prity easley.
Open the picture in paint.exe.
Open Picture.
use the dropper tool and select the pixel you want.
go toolbar... Colour,Edit Colour,Define Custom Colour.
This will give you the RGB colour number's for that pixel.
Hope this helps in some way.
Thanks, but I want to do it with the VBA to find black borders and split pictures. I want to be able to crop several tickets out of 1 scanned jpg. This way I can scan several tickets all at once, split them, OCR each and get information out of it in a excel-sheet, like shop, date and total amount....
