    Runtime Error '1004'

    Hi guys,

I have a particularly frustrating runtime error. It says

Runtime Error '1004' - Unable to set the LeftHeader property of the PageSetup class.

It flags up the following code which is part of what I've used to format the worksheet:

My frustration here is that this bit of code has been working with no problems up until now. I have not changed anything else in the macro that should cause this to fall over. It has seemingly just decided that it doesn't like this part of the code anymore!

Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

    Cheers,

    Christian

    Re: Runtime Error '1004'

Bizarrely this only seems to happen when I'm working on certain computers?

I was working on a computer in one part of our office and it was giving me this error. I've now switched to another pc and I do not get the error. If I go back to the original pc the error comes back?!

I just don't get this. I need to fix it though as people are going to be using my spreadsheet on multiple pc's.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Christian

Do you have a default printer installed on the profile you were using on the PCs that are giving the error? If not, you would get that error.

Thumbs up Re: Runtime Error '1004'

Thanks Romper.. I had the same issue as C411, code working at office, did some updating on a different PC and could not debug the set header error - though had some amusing hours trying! As soon as I connected the printer, order was restored. Will now amend the error handler routines to catch this. Thanks again, I searched many other forum seeking advice on this 'feature'.
