How to Disable automatic fields in pivot table like total and count on fields

    Hi,

I need help with the pivot table, basically i am binding record set to the pivot table using vba,but i am facing problem while binding data,i cant reterive all t the data using orientaton and position and the reason i think is because of automatic calculations.
also how can i disable automatic calculations in the table like sum, count that applies on other fields

    thanks for the help

Your question doesn't make any sense to me, I'm afraid. Can you clarify exactly what you are having problems with? (any data field in a PT has to have a function applied to it)

    1. What error are you getting and on which line?
    2. I'm still not clear on this, I'm afraid. Any field in the Data Area has to have a function applied, but if you are talking about subtotals for the row fields and/or row/column grand totals, you can turn those off?
