    Implementing a movable display field

    Hi,
I donno if this could be possible if it can be done please help.
I have this list wherein the rows might extend beyound 100.
At AG23&24 i have some comments

Can i somehow implement such that even when i scroll down teh rows this too will be appearing, as we see sometimes navigation toolbars appearing in websites when we go down or move up.

I want to know if this feature can be implemented in excel.
Also i can well place it up at headers where it will have frozen pane, but just wanted to ask thats all
    Thanks

I'm not sure what you want, maybe you can explain more fully. One thing though, the merged cells in your lists will cause problems
    Hope that helps.

    Hi,
    IF you check this website
    http://www.johnstoncountyarts.org/Ga...stingmenu.html

you can observe as you scroll down in the centre immediately after the text we get a Floating scroll image "Return to top"

I wanted to know this way if we can implement somethign in excel while we have data spanning across rows so that user gets information as and when he ison that row as to what a color in cells within row represent
    Thanks

You could possibly use a UserForm with the key on.

Re: Implementing a movable display field

    Hi Roy,
Thanks a lot for the idea. In someway or the other i wanted it to happen that way no matter how it was achieved.
I just have one problem with this. SAy for example i have about 5 workbooks minimized. After browsing this sheet(where the user form appears) if i open another sheet from the task bar that is minimized, this user form appears even on that sheet.
How to ensure that this form is shown only while that sheet(status) is viewed and not other sheets.
    thanks
    maxim

Re: Implementing a movable display field

Yo have put the workbook event code in the worksheet code module, n have you used my last code.

    Copy the code
Select the workbook in which you want to store the code
Hold the Alt key, and press the F11 key, to open the Visual Basic Editor
In the Project Explorer, find your workbook, and open the list of Microsoft Excel Objects
Right-click on the ThisWorkbook object, and choose View Code
Where the cursor is flashing, choose Edit | Paste
