copy week total in weekly sales worksheet to appropriate week in monthly sales

I need to copy the values of a range on the weekly sales worksheet to the monthly sales worksheet. The last column is the total on the weekly sales. Part of the heading of the total column is the week ending date (e.g. 10/17/2009. On the Monthly Sales I have the months in columns by week ending (e.g. 10/17/2009).

Range I4:I28 to the monthly sales worksheet by date.

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

Your dates don't match. The week end date in the summary does not match the week end date in the weekly sheet

Sorry I was away from the computer for awhile. I will look at suggestions.

Make sure the dats in the monthly sheet are correct, I had to change them to match the weekly sheet end date

To answer Sniper,

The worksheet weekly sales is fed from the daily sales worksheet which I didn't include. The only time that there would not be data in one othe the weekly columns is if the store would be closed on that day. The information in column B stays the same.
